How to Talk to Your Kids About Porn

Our friend Sandy Pepin has written a post for her blog (www.crookedhousewife.com) on talking to your kids about pornography. It’s a great article, and we wanted to make sure more people saw it..

Sandy brings up an important point when she says, “just like with other major and necessary conversations (racism, abuse, death, etc) we have to have with our children, pornography is something you should be talking about to your children in an age-appropriate way from a young age.” This is a great reminder that even though sex and pornography are really awkward topics to address, the discomfort we feel when talking to our middle- and high-school age kids is MUCH less when it’s a continuation of a conversation we’ve already been having for years.

So make sure to check out Sandy’s post. And if you haven’t already, now would be a great time to start that conversation with your kids.
